  • Material: Phosphor Bronze C510
  • Composition: Copper alloy with 0.5–11% tin and up to 1% phosphorus
  • Tensile Strength: 550–650 MPa (80,000–94,000 psi)
  • Yield Strength: 275–400 MPa (40,000–58,000 psi)
  • Conductivity: Moderate (15–20% IACS)
  • Corrosion Resistance: Good in atmospheric and marine environments
  • Fatigue Strength: Excellent

Reasons Not to Choose:

  • Moderate Corrosion Resistance: Less resistant than stainless steel in highly corrosive environments
  • Difficult to Solder: Compared to tin-coated steel
